Bradlee's Birthday Weekend

My parents and Jamie and Amy came to stay with us for Bradlee's birthday weekend. Friday night we just hung out, and we partied all day and night on Saturday.

To kick off this post, how about a beautiful portrait of my dad and Jamie.
Bradlee's party was a Tinker Bell theme. The table was all decorated with Tinker Bell, and she had a Tinker Bell cake.
Amy thought it was her party...

I made the boys take Bradlee out while we decorated and got everything ready, but unfortunately she feel asleep in the car. Consequently, she was a little confused by her presents and the cake.

Everytime she picked up a new present we asked her what she thought it was going to be, and everytime she said Tinker Bell. Good thing, we did buy her a Tinker Bell doll. I had no idea she wanted one so bad.

Here is a picture of her cake. We don't have a picture of Bradlee with it because she was terrified of the candles. She screamed and cried the whole time we sang to her until we blew the candles out.
Yeah, I don't know...

Jetrin. The only person at the party who looked good in a party hat.

Jamie getting creative.

Ater we ate cake, the kids wanted to go outside and play in the baby pool. Brock has a candy necklace in his mouth in case you were wondering.

Thaiya always looks pretty.

Jaiden and Grandma started out nice...

Then it turned nasty.
And somehow I got ambushed as well.

Later that night we went to the park. We played basketball, freeze tag and made up obstacle courses. It was a lot of fun and very tiring.

Happy Birthday, Bradlee!

That's right, my baby girl is three! I can't believe she is three already, but at the same time, it seems like she's been with us forever, and I can't even remember what things were like without her. She is changing so fast, it is hard to keep up. Right now she is going through a super grateful phase. Anytime I do anything for her she always tells me, "Ooooh, thank you mommies". She always refers to me in the plural form, and Tyler is always "daddies". She refers to herself in the third person probably 80% of the time, like she might say, "Bradlee's not done" or "Bradlee's cup". It's very cute. She gets prettier everyday, and she holds her daddy in the palm of her hand. He doesn't stand a chance against those big blue eyes. We are celebrating her birthday on Saturday, and she is pretty excited. Sorry there are so many pictures with this post, I was just going to pick a couple of my favorites, but I couldn't decide. They are in no particular order...

Weekend in Denver

Last weekend we took a couple days off and headed down south to spend some quality time with Jamie and Amy. On Friday we went to Elitch Gardens. It was pretty cloudy, but that didn't stop us from hitting the water park and riding some killer roller coasters. The kids absolutely loved the water. They were shaking and blue, but they refused to stay out.

Jamie, Jaiden, Tyler and myself went on a four person water slide. Yeah, we pretty much had a blast making fools of ourselves. Tyler and Jamie were screaming as loud as they could like little girls the whole way down.

Meanwhile, Amy kept the kids busy playing with rocks and dirt.

This picture is just super cute...that's all.

While Amy, Tyler, Jaiden and Thaiya went on a scary water ride, Jamie and I tried our best to get a group photo of the babies. Below you will see our best effort. Stellar, I know.

Thaiya was sweet enough to go on some little kid rides with Bradlee.

Brock takin' a nap...that only lasted about fifteen minutes.

Jetrin, just waking up...

While we were there we also saw the Sea Lion show. It was really cute. I think Bradlee really liked it, even though she covered her ears the whole time. Not sure what that's about, but she does it frequently.

Friday night we ate at McGrath's Fish House. We all love that place, and we were definitely not disappointed. After that, while the boys were in some electronics store, Amy and I had a dance party with the kids in the parking lot. Ok, so maybe just Amy and I were dancing, but if anyone asks, it was all for the kids. Saturday we went to like the biggest outlet mall ever. Plus, they had a Cinnabon, so that pretty much rocked my world. After we were done there, we went down to see Kate and Keelia in Littleton. It was really good to see Kate and Keeli. Hunter was at a concert...his loss...he really missed out! Just kidding!!! Well, we had a really good time, and I am sad it's over.

For those of you who know....

I did some rearranging this evening. I need to know what you think....since we don't have anyone here to ask, I decided to post some pictures to get some second opinions. I think I like this way better than before. It is a lot more open and spacious, however, this is a little less convenient for talking and stuff.

So...do you like this way or before better?
