Happy Birthday, Bradlee!

That's right, my baby girl is three! I can't believe she is three already, but at the same time, it seems like she's been with us forever, and I can't even remember what things were like without her. She is changing so fast, it is hard to keep up. Right now she is going through a super grateful phase. Anytime I do anything for her she always tells me, "Ooooh, thank you mommies". She always refers to me in the plural form, and Tyler is always "daddies". She refers to herself in the third person probably 80% of the time, like she might say, "Bradlee's not done" or "Bradlee's cup". It's very cute. She gets prettier everyday, and she holds her daddy in the palm of her hand. He doesn't stand a chance against those big blue eyes. We are celebrating her birthday on Saturday, and she is pretty excited. Sorry there are so many pictures with this post, I was just going to pick a couple of my favorites, but I couldn't decide. They are in no particular order...

Weekend in Denver

Last weekend we took a couple days off and headed down south to spend some quality time with Jamie and Amy. On Friday we went to Elitch Gardens. It was pretty cloudy, but that didn't stop us from hitting the water park and riding some killer roller coasters. The kids absolutely loved the water. They were shaking and blue, but they refused to stay out.

Jamie, Jaiden, Tyler and myself went on a four person water slide. Yeah, we pretty much had a blast making fools of ourselves. Tyler and Jamie were screaming as loud as they could like little girls the whole way down.

Meanwhile, Amy kept the kids busy playing with rocks and dirt.

This picture is just super cute...that's all.

While Amy, Tyler, Jaiden and Thaiya went on a scary water ride, Jamie and I tried our best to get a group photo of the babies. Below you will see our best effort. Stellar, I know.

Thaiya was sweet enough to go on some little kid rides with Bradlee.

Brock takin' a nap...that only lasted about fifteen minutes.

Jetrin, just waking up...

While we were there we also saw the Sea Lion show. It was really cute. I think Bradlee really liked it, even though she covered her ears the whole time. Not sure what that's about, but she does it frequently.

Friday night we ate at McGrath's Fish House. We all love that place, and we were definitely not disappointed. After that, while the boys were in some electronics store, Amy and I had a dance party with the kids in the parking lot. Ok, so maybe just Amy and I were dancing, but if anyone asks, it was all for the kids. Saturday we went to like the biggest outlet mall ever. Plus, they had a Cinnabon, so that pretty much rocked my world. After we were done there, we went down to see Kate and Keelia in Littleton. It was really good to see Kate and Keeli. Hunter was at a concert...his loss...he really missed out! Just kidding!!! Well, we had a really good time, and I am sad it's over.

For those of you who know....

I did some rearranging this evening. I need to know what you think....since we don't have anyone here to ask, I decided to post some pictures to get some second opinions. I think I like this way better than before. It is a lot more open and spacious, however, this is a little less convenient for talking and stuff.

So...do you like this way or before better?

First Parade

It seems like there was a parade almost everyday during Frontier Days, so we took the kids to see it last Saturday with Tyler's parents and Lisa. It was the first parade they have seen. Bradlee was interested for about five minutes and Brock not at all!
There were LOTS and LOTS of horses.

It's That Time of Year Again...

Cheyenne Frontier Days!!!

Wednesday during Frontier Days is always "Cheyenne Day" and all businesses close at noon. Tyler and I decided to take the kids down to the festivities just like last year. We went to the rodeo for a while and then hit up the carnival for some sweet rides and prizes.

Here is Bradlee enjoying a delicious dill pickle at the rodeo. She loves 'em!

FYI...This guy had some rockin' moobs. (You know what I'm talkin' about!)

Pretty sure Brock had zero fun the whole day.

Bradlee and Daddy on the Dizzy Dragons!

Bradlee and Mommy on the Flying Dumbo. She really was having fun, I swear!

Brock still not having fun.

Bradlee loved the rides so much she was even willing to go on some by herself! We didn't think Tyler was gonna fit on this one! You should click to enlarge this picture; it is super cute.

Bradlee and Daddy on the jumbo slide. She went down it all by herself and was laughing the whole way. Like I always say, no sissy babies in this family.

And....he finally gave up.

Tyler won some toys for Bradlee by throwing baseballs at plates. Apparently, he has a knack for carnival throwing games. However, I was unsuccessful at winning her a goldfish (weird, because I thought it was impossible to not win a goldfish). We ate curly fries and elephant ears, and by the end of the day were so tired we felt like death. Bradlee fell asleep literally two seconds after we got in the car. Good times!

They say that catchin' up is hard to do, now I know, I know that it's true...

Well, I think I am all caught up for the last three months. I am sure I missed a bunch of stuff, but that is what I get for being such a slacker. I am resolving to be better from here on out!
