WHAT A DAY!

First of all, today was my first day going back to work. After some painful and prayerful consideration...Tyler and I decided I needed to go back to work for a little while. After days of crying (and throwing up), we had a really neat experience that let us know that everything was going to be ok, and for the most part I have been at peace about our decision ever since. I work with the Wyoming Department of Health, which coincidentally is in the same building Tyler works in. It works out pretty nicely. A lady from our stake is watching the kids, and they did really well today. Funny how things don't always work out how we want, but they always work out.
On a lighter note, we made a gingerbread house tonight for FHE. Bradlee was suprisingly involved with the building process. I was actually pretty surprised!

What a good life lesson to learn. I sometimes wish that everything would just go as planned though. I guess that wouldn't test our faith very much, though, would it?

Nice looking gingerbread house! Ours never turn out quite right. I am not patient enough.

So how was the first day of work? I heard you got really sick too! Geez, why don't you just get pregnant on accident again!

Well that's nice you get to work in the same building as your hubby! Will you guys see each other much?
Its so great that someone you know and trust is watching your kiddos. Hopefully that makes it easier too.
If you move back to Klamath you can team up with Leelou :) hint hint
P.S. your gingerbread house kicks my gingerbread houses butt!

So who was it, Sheri Dew that said "If life were easy, it wouldn't be hard". Remind me to give you that book when we see you. Thank goodness Heavenly Father provides easy parts, if not the entire easy life. You guys are working so hard to do the right things, you are such an example to me and to many others. Not only that, but I've never even TRIED to make a gingerbread house . . .

Good luck back at work! It's funny how the Lord answers our prayers sometimes. And good work with the gingerbread house. I'm very impressed. Josh and I attempted one last year and needless to say, it didn't work out! =)
(Your dance party with your fam. sounded like a blast. I would have loved to watch it!)

I just read a survey that was done among moms in Utah and other states. It said "Twenty-seven percent said they have returned to work, full (time), part (time) or taken on a small extra job for extra money." I guess you're not alone. I hope everything continues to go well for you!

doing what needs to be done is the sign of someone who will succeed. someone who wont "do" wont get anywhere.

you are going to make it through the rough stuff.

This post was really perfect for me to read today. I'm glad that things went well on your first day, and what a blessing that you and Tyler work in the same building. You can carpool and have lunch together and see each other from time to time. I don't think that your kids will be scarred from being babysat by someone while you guys do what you have to do at this stage in your lives. You guys will all be stronger because of it.

Thanks for commenting on my blog! I think you are the first person to look at it! I would love to see some templates 'cause yours is cute & mine sucks! For example, how do I get the "My Favorite Blogs" tag? By the way, how did your third day at work go?
